Overbuilding Homes, New Jersey Home Building Tips

Are you planning on having a brand new home built on your piece of land? Be careful about overbuilding. Make sure you and your contractor take a look at the home along the street. An overbuilt house will be harder to resell. Try to keep your new home consistent with the look and feel of the neighborhood otherwise you are probably overimproving your property. A quick way to get started is by making sure your new home has around the same amount of rooms as the other homes nearby. If your home has double the amount, that’s a good sign your home will be too large.
