Hurricane Irene has left New Jersey….. with some damage.
Two days after the Hurricane has passed over us, towns all over New Jersey are still affected by it. One town that is dealing with a big cleanup is Cranford, NJ. Residents had to face the flooding of both the Rahway River and the Lake in Nomahegan Park. Doubled with lost power, sump pumps could not work to keep water from seeping into homes.
Cranford residents are unhappy with the mess they are left with. The loss of power makes it especially difficult for them to begin cleanup or call the right people for the job.
