This home in Hopatcong, New Jersey received seventeen new replacement windows. The original windows were over 30 years old and not very efficient, allowing heat to escape during the winter and cool air during the summer. M&M Construction Specialist recommended Alside vinyl replacement windows for this project. These windows have a U-value of .28 and solar heat gain coefficient value of .30 (see the photo in the gallery below). A mixture of window types were installed, including casement windows, slider windows, and one picture window. On the interior, new colonial casing was installed around each window and the exterior of each window was wrapped with PVC coated aluminum. The front door and garage doors were also wrapped with new aluminum to match the windows.
